The Jewish Book Council is a not-for-profit organization devoted exclusively to the promotion of Jewish-interest literature. Through an ever-growing list of projects and programs, the Jewish Book Council serves as a catalyst for the writing, publication, distribution, reading and public awareness of books that reflect the rich variety of the Jewish experience.
As the literary arm of the organized American Jewish community, the Jewish Book Council’s presence is felt in the publishing industry, Jewish federations, Jewish Community Centers, synagogues, Hillel centers, conferences, libraries and individual homes in Israel and North America. The only organization of its kind, Jewish Book Council is the chief proponent of the English language Jewish literary tradition and the main address for information on the North American Jewish literary scene.
Advertising in Jewish Book Council's literary review magazine, Jewish Book World, on the Jewish Book Council website, or in the JBC weekly email, ensures that your message reaches the precise community you need to inform. Any given week, the JBC reaches approximately 15,000 readers.

Jewish Book World is JBC’s quarterly magazine, devoted to the promotion of books of Jewish interest. Now in its third decade, this comprehensive publication provides readers and advertisers with an invaluable service. Jewish Book World reaches readers with a specific interest in Jewish books, including librarians, book club members, book program coordinators, and academics, informing them about books they might not otherwise come across. It helps them make knowledgeable reading choices for themselves and to share with their communities. Often called the “Publishers Weekly of Jewish literature,” Jewish Book World brings books of Jewish content into the home of interested and responsive readers.
Ads in Jewish Book World reach a targeted audience of book buyers looking for their next book to read. Jewish Book World is also distributed at Jewish conferences, bookstores, and book programs nationwide.
Further, after publication, each issue will be available for browsing online in the Jewish Book World Archive. Beginning with our Winter 2011 issue, every ad will be hyperlinked to the page of the advertiser's choice, allowing advertisers to interact with their readers well beyond the printed page.
