Ellen Cassedy and Yermiyahu Ahron Taub

Ellen Cassedy is the author of We Are Here: Memories of the Lithuanian Holocaust (2012), which won several national awards and was shortlisted for the William Saroyan International Prize for Writing. She received a 2016 PEN/Heim translation grant for her work on Yiddish writer Yenta Mash. Yermiyahu Ahron Taub is the author of four books of poetry, Prayers of a Heretic (2013), Uncle Feygele (2011), What Stillness Illuminated (2008), and The Insatiable Psalm (2005). Taub was honored by the Museum of Jewish Heritage as one of New York’s best emerging Jewish artists and has been nominated four times for a Pushcart Prize and twice for a Best of the Net award.
