The concept of tikkun olam is used to refer to a broad range of ethical imperatives. Interpersonal behavior, attitude toward the environment, and a vision of a better world are all part of this compelling concept. In this work, Rabbi Dorff introduces the theory behind the idea of tikkun olam as well as how it is actualized through mitzvot and behaviors. Intended as an introduction for Christians, the book compares the approaches of Jewish texts on this topic to Christian texts, explaining where the two faith traditions converge and where they differ.
