This is a colorful board book with bright, appealing pictures featuring an animal scene on each double-page spread. The left-hand side shows the animal in its habitat with an added line of information on the page. The right-hand side has a close-up picture of the animal with the sound” the animal makes spelled out below the photo. The twist here is that each photo is that of a kosher animal, presenting the start of a mini-lesson for toddlers about kashrut and its approach to life. Recommended for ages 1 – 4.
