Deb­o­rah A. Lott is the author of In Ses­sion: the Bond between Women and Their Ther­a­pists. Her cre­ative non­fic­tion and reportage have been pub­lished in The Los Ange­les Times, The Rum­pus, Salon, Sto­ry Quar­ter­ly, The Alas­ka Quar­ter­ly Review, and many oth­er places. Her work has been thrice named as notable by Best Amer­i­can Essays and she’s received three Push­cart Prize nom­i­na­tions. She teach­es cre­ative writ­ing and lit­er­a­ture at Anti­och Uni­ver­si­ty and is a mem­ber of Tem­ple Israel of Hollywood.
