Cel­e­brate Jew­ish Book Month with #30days30authors! In hon­or of the 90th anniver­sary of Fan­ny Gold­stein’s trib­ute to Jew­ish books in the West End’s branch of the Boston Pub­lic Library, Jew­ish Book Coun­cil invit­ed 30 lead­ing authors, one for each day of the month, to answer a few ques­tions.



Abi­gail Pogre­bin recent­ly com­plet­ed her year-long series, 18 Hol­i­days: One Won­der­ing Jew” for The For­ward. She is a for­mer pro­duc­er for Ed Bradley and Mike Wal­lace at 60 Min­utes and the author of three books, Stars of David, One and the Same, and Show­stop­per. She has writ­ten for many pub­li­ca­tions includ­ing Newsweek, New York Mag­a­zine, The Dai­ly Beast, and Tablet, and mod­er­ates a reg­u­lar inter­view series at The JCC in Manhattan.

Her best­selling Kin­dle Sin­gle, Show­stop­per, chron­i­cled her teenage adven­ture in a rare Sond­heim flop on Broad­way. A for­mer pro­duc­er for 60 Min­utes and Char­lie Rose, she mod­er­ates her own inter­view series at the JCC Manhattan.
