The Supreme Court rulings of June 2013 and 2015 brought about a buzz of discussion regarding American civil rights and the LGBTQ community. Jewish writers have contributed to the outpouring of personal and fictional narratives, biographies, and academic perspectives informing the national discourse; here we've compiled some of the most recent and up-and-coming novels, memoirs, biographies, and collections on queer Jewish identity.

GLBT Themes Curated by Keshet

The following list was curated by Keshet. Keshet's mission is to ensure that gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender Jews are fully included in all parts of the Jewish community. In the Greater Boston area, Keshet offers social and cultural events for GLBT Jews ranging from Jewish text study to an annual GLBT Jewish speed-dating gala, Keshet Quick Dates. Nationally, Keshet offers support, training, and resources to create a Jewish community that welcomes and affirms GLBT Jews.
