It’s with great sad­ness that the Jew­ish Book Coun­cil must inform you of the death of Steven Siegel, JBC Board Mem­ber, and friend. Steven took on an active role in the Book Coun­cil, specif­i­cal­ly with the Nation­al Jew­ish Book Awards and the Jew­ish Chil­dren’s Writ­ers and Illus­tra­tors Con­fer­ence, and will be tru­ly missed by his JBC family.
