“Yes­ter­day’s lessons for tomor­row’s future…” 3rd Gen­er­a­tion and Beyond is a book of pow­er­ful life philoso­phies accord­ing to a third-gen­er­a­tion Holo­caust descen­dant. Each chap­ter gives a lit­tle more insight into how we, as indi­vid­u­als, can empow­er our­selves and the world around us. The ini­tial intent of 3rd Gen­er­a­tion and Beyond was for young adults as an intro­duc­to­ry book to Holo­caust edu­ca­tion and a plat­form to plant the seeds for good char­ac­ter. Since the book came out, both young and old alike have been inspired by the read­ing mate­r­i­al to look clos­er into their own lives and activism. The author looked at the world around her and con­tin­ued to won­der: ​“When will we, as human beings, learn our lessons?” This book is meant to teach these uni­ver­sal lessons that she learned from her grand­par­en­t’s exam­ple, two Holo­caust sur­vivors from Poland who despite every­thing believed life can and should be beautiful.
