Why are Israeli and American Jews so drawn to India, Hinduism and Buddhism? Not only do they participate in ashrams and meditation sessions at home, they travel to India by the thousands, attracted by the exoticism, but also by an atavistic connection dating back to the great Persian empires and the Zoroastrian religion that connected the people of Israel and India millennia ago, linking their religions, myths, legends, customs, literature, even languages. Using personal mystical experiences, the book provides the history, explains the religions, shows their common origins, and gives astonishing examples of parallel symbolism.
