As the spir­i­tu­al leader of the Ilford Syn­a­gogue in Britain, Rab­bi Rapoport has been called on to offer guid­ance to stu­dents, some of them Ortho­dox Jews, who were homo­sex­u­als. He address­es some of the issues raised from the per­spec­tive of the holy Torah, not as an attempt to pro­vide defin­i­tive answers, but as a basis for con­sul­ta­tion, dis­cus­sion and ulti­mate­ly deci­sion mak­ing under the author­i­ty of a com­pe­tent Rabbi.
