Sarah Bunin Benor is Associate Professor of Contemporary Jewish Studies at Hebrew Union College (Los Angeles). She has given interactive multimedia presentations about Yiddish, Jewish languages, American Jews, and Orthodoxy in synagogues and JCCs around the country. She received her Ph.D. in Linguistics from Stanford University in 2004, and she is founder and editor of the Journal of Jewish Languages and the Jewish English Lexicon.
