Clipped is a quirky memoir about a Jewish (new) mother whose desperation to get her baby to sleep catapulted her into becoming an inventor and business owner — just before the world fell apart in 2008. Having been raised with the Jewish value of tikvah, hope, Alitowski knew that impossible odds were nothing new and she had what it took to push past every obstacle. Alitowski’s journey included the help of interesting characters along the way, like the Orthodox Jewish importers who connected her to a Chinese factory. As a full-time mother and entrepreneur, Alitowski rolled out blankyclip® to retailers across the country, including the BuyBuyBaby national chain. LA Parent Expecting and Kids Today made blankyclip a Top Pick’’. All that fabulous glory aside, Adrienne also learned what it’s like to fly halfway around the
world to a Chinese factory and to be pregnant, throwing up on the street before an investor meeting. She stuck to her vision and found gold in the muck. Alitowski has inscribed all her deeds in a book filled with humor and humility.
