Yes She Can is a New York Times-bestselling anthology featuring 10 stories from a diverse group of young women who worked in the Obama White House. They were teenagers when Barack Obama announced he was running for office and were called to serve by his inclusive feminist politics. In Yes She Can, they each tell a story of their most inspiring days, filled with the challenges they faced, and advice they wish they could give to our younger selves. For Molly, Noemie, and Taylor, these personal reflections are drawn from our Jewish identity and upbringing. Molly organized a star-studded event, featuring the cast of Annie at the White House for children in foster care. Taylor planned the state visit of Pope Francis in 2015. And Noemie worked to establish a government assistance fund to help aging Holocaust survivors access social services. The book also includes a foreword from actress/activist/founder of eighteen by 18, Yara Shadihi, and a Girls Guide to Getting into Government. They hope to inspire young women to enter public service.
