Oren Kessler is a journalist and political analyst based in New York and Tel Aviv. He has served as deputy director for research at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies in Washington, an Arab affairs correspondent for The Jerusalem Post, and an editor and translator at Haaretz. Palestine 1936, his first book, won the 2024 Sami Rohr Prize for Jewish Literature, was named among the 10 best books of the year by the Wall Street Journal, and was a finalist for a National Jewish Book Award.
