Adi­na Hoff­man is the author of three pre­vi­ous books, includ­ing Sacred Trash: The Lost and Found World of the Cairo Geniza with Peter Cole, which received the ALA’s award for the Jew­ish book of the year. The recip­i­ent of a Guggen­heim fel­low­ship, she received a Wind­ham Camp­bell Prize in 2013. She divides her time between Jerusalem and New Haven.
