Agnes Schip­per is the daugh­ter of a hid­den child and a mem­ber of the Dutch Resis­tance who helped save her moth­er from the Holo­caust. Agnes was 20 when she first dis­cov­ered her moth­er’s hid­den Jew­ish ances­try and the real rea­son her uncle per­ished in a con­cen­tra­tion camp. Her book hon­ors her par­ents’ remark­able sto­ry of sur­vival, courage and resilience.
