Ami Sands Brod­off is the award-win­ning author of three nov­els and two vol­umes of sto­ries. Her nov­el, The White Space Between, about a moth­er and daugh­ter strug­gling with the impact of the Holo­caust, won The Cana­di­an Jew­ish Book Award for Fic­tion. Ami leads cre­ative writ­ing work­shops for teens, adults and seniors. She’s been award­ed fel­low­ships to Yad­do, Banff, VCCA, Rag­dale, and the St. James Cav­a­lier Cen­tre for Cre­ativ­i­ty (Mal­ta). She divides her time between Mon­tre­al and NYC and lives with her hus­band, chil­dren, and super-active Brit­tany Spaniel Xeno.
