Amy Neustein, Ph.D. is a soci­ol­o­gist and author of 16 aca­d­e­m­ic books. Her pub­li­ca­tions include vol­umes from Bran­deis Uni­ver­si­ty Press (Tem­pest in the Tem­ple) and Oxford Uni­ver­si­ty Press (From Mad­ness to Mutiny). She is cur­rent­ly work­ing on her mem­oir chart­ing a four-decade epic on mater­nal rup­ture and sev­er­ance of direct Hasidic dynas­tic lineage.
