Born in Com­mu­nist Roma­nia, her fam­i­ly fled to Israel and then to Cana­da. At 19, Ann moved to the US as a new­ly­wed. She stud­ied at McGill Uni­ver­si­ty, Rut­gers Uni­ver­si­ty, and Rut­gers Law School while par­ent­ing 3 daugh­ters. A vet­er­an lit­i­ga­tor, Ann prac­ticed law for 33 years, served as a Coun­cil­woman for 6 years includ­ing one as May­or, and retired from the NJ Attor­ney Gen­er­al’s Office in 2014. This is her first book.
