Audrey Bar­bakoff is a librar­i­an, entre­pre­neur, and Jew­ish mom. She holds a Doc­tor of Edu­ca­tion from the Uni­ver­si­ty of South­ern Cal­i­for­nia and a Mas­ter of Library and Infor­ma­tion Sci­ence from the Uni­ver­si­ty of Wash­ing­ton. Audrey lives with her hus­band, chil­dren, and chick­ens on a Puget Sound island. In addi­tion to The Schlemiel Kids, she writes pro­fes­sion­al devel­op­ment books for librarians.
