Dr. Batia Cohen has more than 30 years of expe­ri­ence teach­ing art his­to­ry and has pub­lished exten­sive­ly in spe­cial­ized art and his­to­ry jour­nals. She is the author of the his­tor­i­cal nov­els Una Amap­o­la Entre Cac­tus and Shu­ra. Orig­i­nal­ly from Mex­i­co City, Dr. Cohen cur­rent­ly resides in Flori­da and teach­es at a range of aca­d­e­m­ic and cul­tur­al institutions.
