Bet­sy Frischman Fis­ch­er, M.Ed., attend­ed Rut­gers and Tem­ple Uni­ver­si­ties, earn­ing degrees in spe­cial edu­ca­tion. She tran­si­tioned from teach­ing to enter­tain­ment, ulti­mate­ly open­ing The Groove Lounge, a pop­u­lar children’s night­club. Through her phil­an­thropic work in Israel, she met Gadi Yarkoni. His inef­fa­ble resilience led her to close her busi­ness and ded­i­cate her­self to shar­ing Gadi’s remark­able sto­ry with the world.
