May 19, 2015

Brave Girls explores the power, passion, and purpose of females of all ages, digging deep beneath the surface to examine biological, social, psychological factors that contribute to the challenges that are navigated in order to be successful. Radin uses stories of those girls who participate in Unleashed, a not-for-profit organization she founded to invest in the next generation of powerful female change-makers, as well as the examples of the leaders she interviewed and her executive clients. In each chapter, Radin addresses one aspect contributing to being powerful: emotional and social intelligence, resiliency sisterhood, having a voice and speaking out, advocacy, strengths, identity, and playing an active role in community.
