In 1994, 17-year-old Lamonte McIntrye was railroaded and summarily convicted of a double murder in Kansas City, Kansas. Lamonte’s years in prison are brought to life through his contemporaneous journals and deeply personal interviews. After a decade and a half, Centurion Ministries and a local attorney began an 8‑year, herculean effort of digging into the case to prove Lamonte’s innocence and win his release in 2017. Failings of the justice system happen every day across the country, but multiple experts agree that they have never seen another case with such a confluence of corruption and incompetence. Injustice Town blends the expose of injustice with a prescription for how to restore and enhance the rule of law across America.
