Rick Tulsky is a lawyer and journalist, devoting his career to exposing systemic flaws that obstruct justice for all. Rick has worked at newspapers including the Philadelphia Inquirer, LA Times and San Jose Mercury News; has been on the faculty of Northwestern and Penn; and co-founded the nonprofit newsroom Injustice Watch. Rick has won a Pulitzer prize, among more than 20 national awards, and has been a Nieman fellow at Harvard. He and his wife Kim have two children, and are members of a Jewish Reconstructionist Congregation in their home city of Evanston, IL.
