Car­la Stock­ton, cel­e­brat­ing 50 years of par­ent­hood, has taught for near­ly as long. Her writ­ing has appeared in pub­li­ca­tions such as Moment Mag­a­zine, The Toast, and The Guardian, and she trans­lat­ed Radovan Ivsic’s King Gor­do­gan. A for­mer high school dra­ma direc­tor and Eng­lish teacher, she now teach­es as an adjunct pro­fes­sor at Lehman Col­lege and is work­ing on her sec­ond non­fic­tion book and a YA his­tor­i­cal fiction.
