Car­ol Jean Del­mar is an opera and the­ater crit­ic, author, actress, and the daugh­ter of Holo­caust sur­vivors. She has con­tributed sto­ries to Clas­si­cal Singer mag­a­zine and the Los Ange­les Times, is a for­mer staff writer for the Los Ange­les Dai­ly News, and has blogged on the Huff­in­g­ton Post. She holds a bach­e­lor’s degree in the­ater from UCLA and a mas­ter’s in psy­chol­o­gy. Her reviews have been on the for­mer OperaOn​line​.us and are now on OperaThe​aterInk​.com.
