Born in Hal­i­fax and grew up in Mon­trea, at the age of twen­ty Anna Levine immi­grat­ed to Israel. Her books are set in Israel and fea­ture strong female char­ac­ters. Anne writes as a way to dis­cov­er more about Israel, under­stand Jew­ish his­to­ry, cel­e­brate the present, and imag­ine the future.
