Pro­fes­sor of His­to­ry at McGill Uni­ver­si­ty and a Vis­it­ing Schol­ar at the Brook­ings Insti­tu­tion, Gil Troy is a native of Queens, NY and a lead­ing Amer­i­can polit­i­cal his­to­ri­an. The author of eleven books, he writes week­ly columns in The Dai­ly Beast and The Jerusalem Post. He has long fought the dele­git­imiza­tion of Israel as a Zion­ist activist.
