Cora Wilburn (1824−1906), born Hen­ri­et­ta Pulfer­ma­ch­er, emi­grat­ed from France to the Unit­ed States under the name Hen­ret­ty Jack­son in 1848. Her nov­els, essays and poems most­ly appeared in rare spir­i­tu­al­ist jour­nals and Jew­ish peri­od­i­cals.
