Dara Hen­ry is a children’s book author liv­ing in South­ern Cal­i­for­nia. When she is not writ­ing, her favorite pas­times include spend­ing time at the pub­lic library, being active in the beau­ti­ful Cal­i­for­nia weath­er, and enjoy­ing time with her hus­band, three chil­dren, and two cats. Dara finds inspi­ra­tion in nature, life expe­ri­ences, and in watch­ing her chil­dren grow. Work­ing as an ele­men­tary class­room teacher for many years helped Dara appre­ci­ate the beau­ty and pow­er of children’s literature.
