David Rei­fler is an oph­thal­mol­o­gist, a grad­u­ate of the Uni­ver­si­ty of Michi­gan Med­ical School who trained in Detroit and New York City, author of numer­ous med­ical works, and past-pres­i­dent of ASO­PRS. He is on-call pro­fes­sor at Michi­gan State Uni­ver­si­ty and board mem­ber of the Unit­ed Syn­a­gogue of Con­ser­v­a­tive Judaism. He lives with his wife, Karen, in Grand Rapid, MI.
