Diana Kapp is a jour­nal­ist whose work has tak­en her inside San Quentin prison and to far North­ern Afghanistan to write about girls’ edu­ca­tion. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, The Wall Street Jour­nal, Elle, among oth­ers. She and her co-author Rebec­ca Blu­men­stein are friends from their Uni­ver­si­ty of Michi­gan days.
