Diana Wich­tel is an award-win­ning jour­nal­ist at lead­ing cur­rent affairs mag­a­zine New Zealand Lis­ten­er. Her best-sell­ing book, Dri­ving to Tre­blin­ka, pub­lished in the U.S. and Cana­da by Her­itage House Pub­lish­ing, won the Roy­al Soci­ety Award for Non-fic­tion at the 2018 New Zealand Book Awards. Born in Van­cou­ver, she lives with her fam­i­ly in Auck­land, New Zealand, where she writes about tele­vi­sion and cul­ture and explores her frac­tured Jew­ish identity.
