Diane Bot­nick was born, raised, and bat mitz­va­hed in Akron, Ohio. She called New York City her home for years, work­ing for var­i­ous orga­ni­za­tions in sup­port of the per­form­ing and visu­al arts. She and her hus­band cur­rent­ly live in New York’s Hud­son Riv­er Valley.
