Ellen has writ­ten three acclaimed nov­els. She has spo­ken to over six thou­sand peo­ple at eighty venues through­out the coun­try. Two of Ellen’s short sto­ries were print­ed in the Carnegie Mel­lon Anthol­o­gy. She lives in South Beach where she is very active in com­mu­ni­ty affairs. With her hus­band, Mel, they have a com­bined fam­i­ly of six chil­dren and 14 grandchildren.
