Eric Trager is the Esther K. Wagner Fellow at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, where his research focuses on Egyptian politics. His writings have appeared in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and The Washington Post. A native of Queens, NY and a diehard Mets fan, Trager currently lives in Washington, DC with his wife, Alyssa, and his son, Max.
