When a young Jew­ish woman is killed in a bru­tal attack, her grief-strick­en father turns to ancient Jew­ish mys­ti­cism to bring her back to life. By some mir­a­cle, she returns — but changed. As long-buried secrets begin to sur­face and an omi­nous pres­ence stalks the vil­lage, Yet­ta must con­front the mys­tery of what hap­pened to her and the ter­ri­fy­ing con­se­quences of the mag­ic that brought her back.
