Genendy, who lives in Israel with her hus­band and three chil­dren, is an ear­ly child­hood edu­ca­tor and works as an advo­cate for vic­tims and sur­vivors. She teach­es chil­dren and adults how to rec­og­nize signs of abuse, how to come for­ward, and how to grap­ple with the pains and chal­lenges involved in report­ing and healing.
