Ilene Prush­er is a mul­ti-genre writer who was raised in New York and now makes her home in Jerusalem. As a cor­re­spon­dent for The Chris­t­ian Sci­ence Mon­i­tor, she cov­ered the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. She is now a writer for Haaretz, a host on TLV1​.fm , and a lec­tur­er in writ­ing and jour­nal­ism. Bagh­dad Fix­er is her debut novel.
