J.E. Laufer was born in Budapest, Hun­gary and immi­grat­ed to Cana­da as a young child. Judy is an award-win­ning author and award win­ning com­mu­ni­ty leader. In 2017 she was award­ed the Ger­da Weiss­mann Klein Lead­er­ship Award from the Jew­ish Fed­er­a­tion in Phoenix. She has writ­ten sev­er­al award win­ning books for young chil­dren and most recent­ly one for young adults/​adults. She is an engag­ing speak­er for audi­ences young and old.J.E.
