Rab­bi Joshua Cahan is an author and Tefi­lah edu­ca­tor in New York City with many years of expe­ri­ence in high schools and camps. He teach­es cours­es in the devel­op­ment of Jew­ish Litur­gy and has pub­lished numer­ous arti­cles on Litur­gy and Tal­mud. His first book, The Yedid Nefesh Bencher, has sold over 100,000 copies since its pub­li­ca­tion in 2009. He holds rab­binic ordi­na­tion and a Ph.D. in Tal­mud from the Jew­ish The­o­log­i­cal Seminary.
