Joshua Hal­ber­stam teach­es Phi­los­o­phy and Com­mu­ni­ca­tions at BCC/CUNY. He received his doc­tor­ate in Phi­los­o­phy from NYU while pur­su­ing post-grad­u­ate Tal­mu­dic stud­ies. Hal­ber­stam is the author of books on a range of top­ics includ­ing ethics, edu­ca­tion, and Jew­ish cul­ture, and of the nov­el A Seat at the Table.
