Karen Treiger is a grad­u­ate of Barnard Col­lege and NYU Law School. She left her law prac­tice in 2015 to write a book about Sam and Esther Goldberg’s sur­vival in Poland dur­ing World War II under Nazi rule. The book award-win­ning book, My Soul is Filled with Joy: A Holo­caust Sto­ry was pub­lished in 2018. She lives in Seat­tle, WA.
