Kath­leen B. Jones is pro­fes­sor emeri­ta of wom­en’s stud­ies at San Diego State Uni­ver­si­ty and the author of sev­er­al books, includ­ing Com­pas­sion­ate Author­i­ty: Democ­ra­cy and the Rep­re­sen­ta­tion of Women and Liv­ing Between Dan­ger and Love: The Lim­its of Choice. Her short fic­tion and essays have appeared in in Fic­tion Inter­na­tion­al and Bri­ar Cliff Review.
