Kostya Kennedy, an Assis­tant Man­ag­ing Edi­tor at Sports Illus­trat­ed, is the New York Times best­selling author of Pete Rose: An Amer­i­can Dilem­ma and 56: Joe DiMag­gio and the Last Mag­ic Num­ber in Sports. He received a Pulitzer Fel­low­ship from Colum­bia, where he has also taught. He and his wife are active mem­bers of the WJC in Westch­ester, N.Y.
