Kostya Kennedy, an Assistant Managing Editor at Sports Illustrated, is the New York Times bestselling author of Pete Rose: An American Dilemma and 56: Joe DiMaggio and the Last Magic Number in Sports. He received a Pulitzer Fellowship from Columbia, where he has also taught. He and his wife are active members of the WJC in Westchester, N.Y.
