Rab­bi Leah Rachel Berkowitz is a grad­u­ate of Bran­deis Uni­ver­si­ty and Hebrew Union Col­lege-Jew­ish Insti­tute of Reli­gion. She has writ­ten exten­sive­ly for adults and teens about Judaism, spir­i­tu­al­i­ty, and wom­en’s expe­ri­ences. This is her first book for children.
