After a career in pub­lic ser­vice, Lin­da Bakst retired to pur­sue her pas­sion: writ­ing. In her work life, Lin­da wrote count­less mem­os and reports, but she believed she had sto­ries to tell. Lin­da start­ed a mem­oir blog, Sto­ries I Tell Myself, and joined writ­ing groups where she cur­rent­ly resides. Lin­da has pub­lished in the online jour­nal Trol­ley, the Albany Times Union, and has twice been a final­ist in the Brook­lyn Non­fic­tion Prize competition.
