Lin­da Daly was born in Man­hat­tan and raised in Los Ange­les. After grad­u­at­ing from Amer­i­can Uni­ver­si­ty, she taught spe­cial edu­ca­tion, wrote for the Los Ange­les Times Mag­a­zine and worked for a num­ber of local and nation­al char­i­ties. She is a cer­ti­fied Mas­ter Gar­den­er, and lives in L.A. with her hus­band and two chil­dren. The Last Pil­grim­age is her first book.
